Over The Hill

(30/5/2012)

Leave me alone

While I have a turn

Give me space in time

To go out of my mind

Close the door

So I can score

I want to go insane

Want to leave this brain

I want to run away and hide

Lie down beyond the clouds in the sky

I want to raise the dead from their sleep

And ask what it’s like to get some peace

Normality should be criminalized

Like pocketing your employer’s wealth on the side

And insanity should be popularized

Awarded as a Noble Prize

I want to disappear on the horizon

I want to be refrigerated and frozen

I want to be cannibalized

Decapitated before my very eyes

I’ve lost the will to swim

I’ve lost the will to win

I’ve lost the will to compete

All I know is defeat

I want to be under a moving train

I want to feel every bit of the pain

They don’t believe I’m insane

But they’re not hearing this constant refrain

It’s on top of the mountain

It’s in the health spar and the fountain

It’s at the bottom of the hill

And all it takes it just one pill

They’ve driven us crazy

And still they want more babies

More tranquillizers to keep us still

One more step and I’m over the hill

welcome to the world as seen through my eyes
